Hex drill bits

They cut through aluminium with out skipping a beat. How long will they last...
There are two reasons for buying hex shanked drills. You either have a hex head drill/impact driver or, you have an ageing slippy chuck on your drill and want a hex head to eliminate the slipping. If that is your scenario you should just go buy them, they are excellent. I work mostly with aluminium and they power through it like its yesterdays news. How long they will last i dont know. Ive spent a week in the factory running them hard. They haven't let up and feel like they are going to last, but time will tell. They are a work of art to behold (if like me, you appreciate good tools), forged in one piece and not pincered into a hex shank like the cheap stuff. I cant comment on longevity as ive only had them a week. My first thoughts are good. I do keep them coated in light spray-on 3in1 oil as they are tungsten coated.

Look great
Just what i needed to add to my dewal collection, love the pilot point to start the drilling. Nice container, as can add to my Dewalt organiser. Also bonus they are on 1/4” drive, so will fit the impact as well. So it’s a win win. Just need to find a project to drill!!!

Made to drill in tight spaces
Yup. They're made to be used with an angle chuck. Bit expensive but perfect to drill in tight spaces.

What can i say? DEWalt Accessories have always been my go too tool accessories. i have never had anything break on me. i only replace something that's either broken because of my own user error or natural wear and tear.
