First, ignore my untidy van.I bought this unit to replace a larger android head unit after I damaged the screen.Having searched for the lowest price my expectations were realistic in what I would receive, however, I am amazed by the quality of this.Whilst the surround is a little plasticky, the display is absolutely brilliant. Bright, crisp and colour rich.Installation is super easy with the single din just being a swap out of the standard radio. A couple of extra parts like an cable adapter and loom adapter made the installation super easy. Routing the wire for the camera was predictably ok and the microphone install was super easy.Paring for Apple Car play and android auto was super easy and settings are retained when the car is switched off.The interface is snappy and the screen responsive.So, in summary. Buy this, don’t pour money into overpriced and over complicated hard units.

Fits perfectly to a 1997 Citroen AX. Works well with iPhone 12. Can make/receive calls easily, send messages using voice command whilst driving. It does miss a connector for the antenna. Fortunately I had one. Excellent bit of kit.(Even though it has a reverse camera, I have not fitted it as not needed.)

Okay so I absolutely love this CarPlay stereo. The quality of the sound is so much more better then the other Hikity CarPlay stereo I had before this. The screen is beautiful and just the right size, the screen is very responsive, the settings are simple and easy to understand the remote control is cute and good to use. However I would have given this 5 stars but after the 2nd day of having it it wouldn’t connect to my phone like it usually does as soon as I turn the car engine on, it would only play radio and I had to turn the engine off and on again two times for it to come on to then go a black screen (which was very worrying) turned the car engine off and on again one more time and it connected straight away. It has done this two times now and makes me nervous as I need my stereo and my music it’s very important to me when I drive! Hopefully it won’t happen again so fingers crossed. But I am happy otherwise just nervous everytime I turn the engine on. But for the price it’s a great stereo I’m so happy I purchased it.UPDATED!!!! Car stereo is now faulty! Last three pics are stereo frozen! The screen freezes with volume stuck! Connecting screen gets stuck, touchscreen doesn’t work and turning car off the stereo stays on a frozen screen. Not happy at all. Fed up of all these Hikity stereos. Do not recommend.

Was all fine then the screen just cut out and doesn’t work anymore.Customer service- couldn’t fault them!Very impressed
