Perfect replacement. Works great.

I was worried when I ordered this motor as a replacement for the failed slide motor on our motor coach. The cost for the replacement was $669 + a hefty shipping fee due to the weight of the motor. When I received the motor from Amazon within 2 days of ordering, I carefully compared it to the old motor and they were identical in the exception of a more powerful motor on the Amazon motor...size was the same, weight was the same and even the bracket holes lined up perfectly. Installation was a breeze, although the engineers that designed that room slide should be condemned to install a 100 of these...If you are 5 feet tall with 6 feet long arms, it is easy otherwise it is not... Once connected, it worked flawlessly and more quietly and faster than the original...the question is durability and I will post a revised review if it fails to deliver as expected. I am very pleased with this motor and thrilled I took a chance and bought it....

The part arrived very quickly and looked like a perfect fit. The spline drive shaft even looked a little heavier duty. The bracket held the motor at a slight angle to the gear box, I was concerned. I spent 2 hours installing and adjusting cables, but the motor did not work. It would run for a few seconds and shut off, after a pause it would run again. Not Ideal but it worked moving the slide in and out 3 times with lots of hesitation. Went to pull the slide in to close up and the motor started a high pitch noise, free turning drive spline. Slide was stuck. Bottom line, this part is a piece of junk do not buy. Spend $180 and get the OEM Motor from BAL. That is how I fixed my issue.

Bought as a spare. Have not used it yet. Looks just like oe one.

Searched and purchased this by model and specs. Motor came with no nameplate whatsoever. I installed the motor and it was to weak to operate the slide and tripped on overload. I returned and bought the BAL motor. Installed and it worked like a champ. BAL motor was twice the price but worth every penny.

Installed the motor & gearbox this weekend and it works great. I would recommend this product as a first choice.
