Peace of mind with great quality
We love our EUFY camera system. We added cameras to our living room, upstairs flex room, and our 8-year-old’s bedroom so we can keep an eye on him as he moves around the house. The picture and sound quality are excellent, and the app is easy to use. It gives us peace of mind without feeling complicated or intrusive. Very happy with this system.

🔥 Unreliable and Unsafe – Save Yourself the Headache! 🔥
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so frustrating, I feel obligated to warn other parents. I bought this baby monitor **twice** — yes, twice — because the first one died within weeks of the warranty. It just stopped turning on one day. I contacted the manufacturer’s customer service and began what turned out to be an utterly painfully slow and repetitive process. They kept asking for the same information over and over, took forever to reply, and they refused to help with a replacement. Begrudgingly we bought a second monitor since we purchased the stand too. The **second monitor failed too** — same exact issue. No power, no warning, no explanation. When I contacted support again, it was somehow an even **worse experience** than the first time. Days of silence, copy-paste responses, and “we’re escalating this” emails that went absolutely nowhere. It’s now been **over a month** and I still haven’t received a resolution. This is a product designed to give parents **peace of mind** Instead, it left me anxious, annoyed, and completely disappointed. I’ve wasted time, money (TWICE), and trust — and all while trying to keep an eye on my baby. Bottom line: **DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR**. It’s unreliable, and the customer service is some of the worst I’ve ever encountered.

Great monitor
This is a really good monitor for all ages. My 6 year old wanted a camera in his room because he’s scared of monsters and I wanted to give him extra security. You can change the view of the camera from the monitor and it covers pretty much the whole room. He likes that I can talk through the camera to him as well. The video quality is decent for a monitor. The charge doesn’t hold well, so I keep it plugged in constantly. Easy to set up and good value for money.

Do not buy
There are several gripes I have with this camera. I’ve been using it for 4 months as a baby monitor. 1) battery life of the monitor is TERRIBLE. Lasts maybe 1 hour 2) I have to use it with the micro -usb cable on and the port is on the right side of the monitor making it difficult to keep monitor standing in the table if the outlet is on the other side since it pulls. 3) uses micro usb 4) the plug area is so loose it falls off very easily. Very often I wake up to a dead monitor. Literally cable falls off with the slightest touch. Maybe I got a dud monitor? 5) the monitor kick stand that pops out from the back is very flimsy cheap plastic with cheap attachment to the monitor. I’m afraid to use it lest it snap off on day. 6) the monitor kick stand on the back makes loud noise (plastic slaps down on the plastic back of monitor) you want to close it up. This was so painful especially when baby is asleep even with a white noise machine my baby gets startled. Even if you try to do it slowly and gently it will still make a snap noise even if you release it from 1 millimeter away. 7) the rounded edges of the monitor are not compatible at all to a iPhone /ipad stand. I prefer to use another stand such as a iPhone holder instead of the flimsy kick stand it has but alas it cannot fit traditional gorilla stand type iPhone holders. I especially need it when I take a shower and need to watch baby but alas I can’t do that. Instead I put it on the sink top and have to peak out from behind the shower curtain every 2 mins. 8) there is a weird feedback loop noise that comes out of the camera head itself whenever there is a noise in the room. For example when baby cries you can hear the same cry echo from the camera. I have to keep the volume low for that reason lest it wake up the baby from its own sleep sounds. That makes it hard for me to hear anything going on from the baby monitor. I have to keep the volume down and even at the lowest setting (it won’t let you turn it completely off) , you can still hear the feedback loop if baby has a loud cry. 9) it doesn’t have an easy off button. I wish it had an off button on the camera or monitor itself. I tried traveling with it once so I had to unplug it to put in my suitcase and it kept repeating “battery low” warnings the entire time until it completely ran out. I looked it up and apparently you need an app to turn it off. WHY?!?!? 10) buttons on the monitor clicks so loud. So cringe whenever baby is sleeping and you click a button on the monitor clicks. The above are things I wish I knew before purchasing. There might be more but can’t think of any right now. 2 stars bc the camera part works to show the baby. Has night vision which is good. I actually did research to try to find a no frills baby monitor that doesn’t involve fancy attachments to track breathing and temp (my opinion is overkill). I ended with this cheap dud. Regrets … I don’t usually write Amazon reviews but this pissed me off so often I finally caved and needed to vent.

Cheaper and very user friendly compared to more expensive monitors
Originally I got the Nanit Pro which is much more expensive than this camera. When I had difficulty connecting the Nanit to my WiFi I stumbled upon a review that said they liked this camera over the Nanit. The Nanit works via WiFi and your phone so if you’re using your phone you can’t have the video up. I love this camera. The picture is clear day and night. It’s easy to move around if needed. I’ve used the feature to talk through the camera. I haven’t tried hooking up multiple cameras but I like the option. It seems like it would be good if you have multiple small children or want to set up a camera in multiple places such as the crib and by a play area.

First and favorite baby monitor
Absolutely love this camera. I had it for 3 years. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars was because when the monitor broke I couldn’t just purchase a single monitor. Works very well. Would even work outside in the garage.

Look for another product
I really liked this baby monitor until the screen stopped working. So don’t buy from Eufy. Unfortunately about one year after I purchased this baby monitor, the battery stopped holding its charge. I went through the troubleshooting steps without success. I contacted Eufy and because it is just over the year from me purchasing it, they cannot and will not replace it for me. Don’t waste your money, buy a better product elsewhere.

2nd one I've bought that broke on me. Won't connect and I have a constant clicking noise. Stay away.

We’ve used these for years - not to monitor a sleeping baby, but to monitor study participants in testing rooms. It’s one of the few non-WiFi models I could find, and it’s worked great. I think we have three systems running - and they don’t interfere with each other and are just generally painless to use and teach staff to use.
