Simply amazing.
Picture quality is unbelievable, hands down the best picture quality monitor or TV I’ve ever owned. I bought this to replace a 27-inch and 22-inch Acer setup that I had been using for 6+ years, and this was a MAJOR upgrade. Those monitors were fine, but pretty bland by today’s standards. Considering I work 10–12 hour days and also game and watch media regularly, I figured this was worth the investment. Out of the box, setup was incredibly easy. Everything clicks together nicely and just feels well built. The settings are also surprisingly good right away. What’s really cool is that the monitor automatically adjusts based on what you’re doing, for example, if you switch to HDR on your computer, the monitor switches to HDR as well. When I first started using it, I noticed a little bit of what I believe is ghosting, but a quick screen refresh completely fixed it. As for text clarity, anyone saying the text isn’t good must have extremely high expectations. The text on this monitor is actually clearer than what I was coming from on both of my Acers. Everything looks sharp and readable without needing to mess with a bunch of settings beyond. Performance-wise, this thing is an absolute beast. Running at 240Hz feels like a dream. The difference is immediately noticeable, everything looks and feels buttery smooth. From a productivity standpoint, I love being able to have wide spreadsheets and long files or web pages open without constant scrolling, which is incredibly useful as an accountant. Gaming looks fantastic on this monitor. Right now I’m playing on Xbox (hopefully moving to PC soon), so I do have black bars on the sides, which doesn’t bother me at all. I did try full-screen on Xbox initially, but you can tell it’s stretching the image slightly, and it started messing with my eyes. It’s playable and still looks good, but switching back to the black bars felt much more natural. As I’ll primarily be working on this monitor, I’m not too concerned about burn-in. There are precautions you can take, and newer OLED panels like this one include built-in features designed to help prevent it. My one real downside is the menu button. It’s not very user-friendly at all. The button is small, located on the back bottom of the monitor, and feels awkward to use. A remote or better button design would be a huge improvement, especially at this price point. Also, while I personally like it, I can see how the aggressive 800R curve could be too much for some people. It’s very “in your face” and definitely takes some getting used to. That said, I think it’s awesome. Gaming almost feels 3D, and for work it, lets me see a wide field of view without constantly turning my head. Overall, this monitor has been incredible so far and feels like a worthwhile investment for both productivity and gaming.

Great monitor
I love this monitor. I switched to this from a dual monitor setup with displays provided by my company (27" 60hz). The difference is unbelievable. The clarity is great, it's super easy to snap windows to each side of my screen to be efficient at work while also having a big and immersive picture for videos and games. I haven't done any benchmarking to see how accurate the colors are, etc., but overall it has been great in the first week. BTW, the listing didn't mention this, but this monitor has a built in speaker that is acceptable if you're not an audiophile. It also has "rgb" lighting on the back that creates a nice effect on your wall and reduces eye strain a bit. I bought this on an insane sale for $760. I think even at its normal price it would be a great display

Great Gaming Monitor!
I had the MSI MPG 491CQWP 49" OLED before this monitor. I loved the MSI, except for the height. It was four feet wide but only 13" high. I switched to the LG 45GS95QE because it was a much better fit for me and much more immersive. The 800R curve is fantastic, the OLED and HDR are phenomenal, and the 21:9 is better supported than the 32:9 of the MSI. I do notice the PPI when looking at text on a webpage or reading notepad. But text in all my games is clear and easy to read. I bought this as a gaming monitor and in that role it rocks! Picture out of the box was incredible. My wife, who is not a gamer, often stops and stares because of the picture clarity and how my games look. Also, the refresh rate of 240hz is faster than the MSI 144hz. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could. I will say the slightly lower resolution of 3440X1440 makes it easier to reach 200+ fps than the 5120X1440 of the MSI. The only complaint I have is that text is not as clear as it is on a 4K monitor or the MSI. Having said that, the OLED picture clarity is a game changer for me. If you are a gamer, and are using an LCD monitor, trust me, you will not regret getting this monitor.

Defective Product + Very Poor Support
I bought this LG Ultragear OLED monitor and after a short time half of the screen stopped working. For such an expensive product, the quality is awful. What’s even worse is Amazon’s support. They refused to give me a refund, no return option, no replacement nothing. Instead of helping, they kept sending me to the manufacturer and wasting my time. Bad product, and Amazon didn’t stand behind the customer at all.

Great monitor , well built . Remote would be nice tho
Bought this for Xbox play . Been eyeing this and the Samsung ark 2 55” but for gaming decided to go with the smaller 45”. And when it finally hit a sale price I grabbed it . Monitor showed up in two days . Easy to assemble. Very sturdy materials . Aluminum not plastic . Has two hdmi and one display port for inputs . Not gonna lie maybe two display ports woulda been nice as well as an hdmi out or optical sound out but it is a pc monitor primarily by design . It does have an Audio 1/8th inch jack for headphones so gonna try that with a sound bar . This model has the square base. Most brick and mortar stores around me have the weird pyramid arms so I am glad I got the square base as it takes far less room on my desk . I do wish it came with a remote, having to enable PIP AND PBP via the button on the bottom to me isn’t ideal and I will be using this monitor in split screen for productivity as well but I’m sure I will get used to it . As for gaming . I’m primarily COD and FORZA. COD is amazing on this monitor . It truly helped my game play . And forza is very immersive in cockpit view inside the car . I still need to tweak and explore the monitor settings to optimize but really enjoying it so far and can’t beat the sale price

Great Monitor for 1440p
The 39 inch size was perfect for me personally. Didn’t feel too big for a desk but was so immersive. Color quality is exceptional and the monitor feels high quality. I also found that when I played games that had to be played in a 16:9 format, it still looked good on the monitor. The internal speakers are also unexpectedly good and has a nice depth effect.

Best monitor I have ever used.
Best monitor I have ever used by far. Perfect black levels, amazing colors, no dead pixels. A year or more later it is still awesome. The alleged cons-- that it doesnt get that bright, or that it has low pixel density-- are not very evident and I dont notice them nearly as much as I thought I would. What I do notice is that my games look incredible.

For daily use it’s an awesome upgrade!
The curve on this monitor is NOT bad at all. It’s been called “severe” among other things, but I use this as a daily monitor for work, streaming, some gaming, etc. so it’s all over the place on use cases. It was a noticeable improvement over a 32” monitor, and the added width makes a big difference (no pun intended). The DPI of 96 isn’t razor-sharp, but I’m not 4 inches from it looking for soft edges or gotcha disappointments. It’s fine so don’t worry about it. The text quality is as good as most others, and frankly isn’t a problem at all. If a pure text-displaying microfont monitor capable of competing with 5K is your requirement then look elsewhere. But if you want a fantastic big OLED with awesome black levels, smooth movements when gaming, and popping colors with zero bleed for mixed use then jump on it.
