It works perfectly - every single one of them!
I bought these NFC tags specifically for use with Home Assistant and the NFC Tools app. Setup was straightforward: I was able to write custom actions, read them back, and integrate them into my automations without a single issue.

Tags work great, doesn't require contact, just near the phone
Tags are thin/light weight and you can write on the surface. Looking forward to using these to set up inventory of boxes/totes in my garage. NOTE: The only caveat I have is the packet received was NOT what was pictured (which looks like a roll of tags) so I was confused upon arrival - it was just 5 strips of 10 tags in a tiny envelope.

Inexpensive, Easy to Program, and Reliable — Great for Custom NFC Projects
I purchased these to create custom “tap to open a link” signage for our church. They were very easy to program using the NFC Tools app on my iPhone. They’re inexpensive, which makes them a great option for trying out different ideas. There are so many fun uses for these tags, though I’m not sure if most people prefer them over simply scanning a QR code. I haven’t had any issues with any of the tags — they’ve all worked reliably. They also seem a little easier to use with iPhones, where the NFC reader is at the top of the phone, compared to Android devices, where the reader is usually centered on the back.

Waste of Money and Zero Functionality
I really wanted these NFC tags to work, but this was a huge disappointment. I tried multiple tags from the roll and absolutely none of them worked the way they should. The few that did register had to be so close to my phone that I might as well have taped them directly to the back of it. That defeats the entire purpose of NFC. The return window is already closed, so now I’m stuck with a whole roll of useless tags that do nothing for me. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend these at all. Any ideas what I can even do with them at this point?
