Addendum - Manufacturer made things right by refunding the fan cost. Good air movement.Fan was installed but would not oscillate. I messed with it a bit and it finally started oscillating. Turned fan off. When fan was turned back on the next day it was not oscillating again. After installing it in the barn rafters it is too big a pain to return. It does move some air, so not a total waste.

The media could not be loaded. I hung this to create some breeze on my patio, its partially covered but has held up well to the elements and serves its purpose well. I like the fact it has 3 speeds and oscillating can be turned on or off if you preferred one over the other at different times. It runs fairly quite while in operation.

Thought this fan be fantastic🫣It doesn’t oscillate but one side. Missing set screw for fan blade. Doesn’t seem to push as much air as featured on the patio. No way in a shop

The media could not be loaded. Very easy to assemble. I wish I would’ve taped it. Anybody can do it. It is a plug-in so you don’t need to be an electrician just hook it up to an appropriate extension cord for outdoors the fan is powerful with three speeds with my small space. I keep mine on the lowest speed, not to mention the oscillating fan. I’m using this ones to keep the flies off my patio. They tend to not like wind so they don’t pool up by the door. The fan is also very quiet! Definitely a good deal for the money, It will be great on those hot days coming soon. Highly recommend.

The easiest part of putting this fan together should have been the last step - putting the cage around the blade. Believe it or not, this is made so cheaply that the clips wouldn’t align. Plus, this fan is noisy. When I went to mount the speed dial the plastic broke. I recommend you spend a little more and get a better quality fan.
