I purchased the HEATRONICS® Electric Blanket with high expectations, but it turned out to be one of the worst purchases I've ever made on Amazon. Here’s why:Safety Concerns: The blanket’s 2-hour auto-cutoff feature is completely unreliable. It either doesn’t turn off on time or shuts off way too early, leaving you freezing in the middle of the night. Worse, the heating felt uneven, with some spots becoming excessively hot—this is a potential fire hazard.Poor Build Quality: The material is uncomfortable and feels cheap. After just a week of use, I noticed loose wires poking through the fabric. The stitching is shoddy, and the blanket already looks like it’s falling apart.Ineffective Heating: Even on the highest of its so-called 5 heat settings, the blanket barely warms up. It takes forever to start feeling anything, and by the time it does, the heat is patchy at best.Uncomfortable Size: Despite being advertised for a single bed, the blanket is oddly small and doesn’t cover properly. It’s too narrow for even one person to use comfortably.Terrible Customer Support: I tried reaching out to HEATRONICS® for help, but their customer service was completely unresponsive. It’s as if they’ve vanished after selling me this faulty product.Not Worth the Price: For the quality and performance, this product is massively overpriced. I’ve seen better blankets at a fraction of the cost.In summary, I deeply regret buying this product. It’s uncomfortable, unsafe, and unreliable, with no support from the manufacturer.
