Tried out over Thanksgiving and it worked great. Don't look for on button , doesn't have one soon as you open it it will come on for about a minute and then go off..

Very easy to use and responds quickly. Made some steaks that turned out great!

Perfect meat thermometer. Easy, accurate, perfect! This has made my cooking so much better because I was always over-cooking meat. So glad I got this handy little gadget!

This thermometer claims to take a reading in 3-4 seconds. It jumps about 3 degrees every 3-4 seconds, so if you are trying to measure the temp in a smoker or oven, prepare to get roasted by the time it actually reaches the correct temperature reading. It has a few nice features, but is absolutely worthless at reading temps in meat. By far the worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon.

What an upgrade from my previous thermometer. I used to hate cooking meat because it would take forever to get the temperature & now I'm excited everytime I'm cooking !!! Super fast and precise temperature. Awesome product !
