This is a cute shelf toy! This is not a play tor because the water will be a big mess but it really is so cute and the lights are a perfect dimm for a night light! The little Axolotl is a good nice thick silicone material & water proof so it could be played with in bath too! It just floats in its little "tank" it really does nothing other than bob up and down. its really a young child's "first pet" you can not kill LOL The "tank" is the size of a regular goldfish bowl. a pretty good size maybe like 5/6 cups of water.. please dont quote me on the water amount .. Not cheap whatsoever just not meant for older girls/boys I guess IMO

Cute idea but my daughter’s started leaking about a day after she received for her birthday. She will just use the Axolotl in the bath or pool now.

Got this from my five-year-old niece for Christmas and she absolutely loves it, it’s easy for her to use, functions really well with the bubbles but do you have to be careful since it is easy to spill water out of the top when carrying, she has dropped a couple times and it seems to be very durable, battery life seems to be good and she has a ton of fun playing with it. I thought it was a good value
