I wanted perfect fit along cutting edge. These have that to perfection. Goes through all normal cutting jobs superbly. I use side cutters frequently, on many materials (but not super-hard metals because these invariably damage the cutters to some extent). I most often use the cutters for removal of electronic components from PCB's and old chassis so mainly copper/aluminium alloys/ mild steel/ plastics etc. These jobs can become a pain if the cutter blades do not mate exactly and repeated attempts are needed. These are well made cutters and suggest a long working life. The cutters I would normally buy are three times the price of these and I am glad I was tempted to give them a try. ( PS For super-hard metals I start with old, beaten-up cutters and then use diamond-based edges.)

Buona fattura i materiali; manico isolato bicomponente contro le correnti; ergonomico antiscivolo avente una buona impugnatura quando si sguainano i fili. Lame (per il momento) molto affilate, spezzano e sguainano fili da 4mm senza sforzo. La tronchese (160 mm lunghezza totale: manico + lama) viene fornita, in uno scatolo con tanto di garanzia e certificazione (a differenza di tronchesi BETA, che viene data in una semplice busta di plastica senza certificazioni).

Hatte mir den Seidenschneider bestellt, um Deko - also Kunstblumenstängel - in größerem Umfang zuzuschneiden. Es sollte ein selbst gebastelter Baum auf dem Balkon mit inzwischen verblassen und vom Sturm übelst aussortierten Kunstrosen umdekoriert werden zu einem "Farn-Baum". Die alten Stängel wurden im Stamm in gebohrte Löcher verklebt und sind entsprechend dick: mit dem alten und inzwischen stumpfen Seidenschneider war kein Durchkommen, auch mit diversen Zangen keine Chance! Also diesen hier bestellt und im ersten Moment sehr skeptisch, weil die Schneideflächen auf mich nicht allzu scharf wirkten... Aaaber - der Seidenschneider hat die 5 mm dicken Drahtstängel wie Butter abgezwickt!! Ich war ehrlich begeistert, weil ich mit rheumatischer Grunderkrankung echt Probleme mit der Krafteinwirkung der Hände habe - deshalb liebe ich meine wachsende Werkzeugkasten sehr >> die hilft mir, wo mein Körper sich querstellt😅😉👍 Das Teil ist obendrein sehr schön griffig, liegt gut in der Hand und tut beim Zudrücken nirgends weh👍👍👍 (hatte ich schon bei Billigzangen)!! Für den Preis ein wertiges, hilfreiches Werkzeug, das mich hoffentlich lange begleitet🍀
