Great shock, better handling!
A little softer on the bumps but yet stays more planted in the curves with less body roll. Softer ride typically results in worse handling but not with these. Appears to be well made and sharp looking as well. Less than an hour to install two.

5100's for the WIN
These 5100's make my Trail Boss ride like a dream. 1000 times better than the stock Rancho's that came on the truck.

Great shocks but check them as soon as you get them
One of the front shocks I received had to be someone else's return. It was damaged, used, and beat up pretty bad. Tried to call trends auto and no one would ever answer. Left a message and nothing. Had to order another set bc my truck was stuck on a lift in a shop when they opened the box w the bad shock. No truck for 4 days while I waited for the next order to arrive. For the price the 5100s are awesome shocks. Replaced the ranchos on my at4.

Only had them for about a month but so much better than the ranchos

Direct replacement for Rancho Shocks
Installed on my GMC AT4 direct fit for old Rancho shocks rides a bit smoother.

Big difference from stock
These are the best! Installed on my 2021 Chevy TrailBoss 6.2L Get ride of those Rancho shocks and get a set of these, you won’t regret it

Struts good, included parts lacking
The shocks seem to be great, the "included parts" are lacking for the front struts. There were only the 3 nuts for the top of the strut. There should have been the nut for the top of the shock into the strut and at least 2 nuts for the bottom strut bolts. The 3 nuts for the top were the "deformed" self locking nuts. They are so badly deformed that they were damaging the threads on the strut and impossible to turn when they got all the way into the threads.

Put on 2019 Chevy 1500 Trail boss
Ride is a little stiffer for a few hindered miles but it smoothed out. Feels way more solid in turns and braking. Most importantly the rear axle doesn’t kick out like was with the ranchos. Two about 2 hours in m garage. Can’t beat the quality for price. All parts came correctly and they send lots of stickers.

It was supposed to be a set of shocks absorber but in fact it was one shock.
