Good Supplemental Training Manual
This book provides a useful summary of the key muscle groups involved in a range of martial arts techniques. It is not designed with a particular art so for everyone there will be things you will disregard. As a karate practitioner I found myself critiquing the techniques shown. It is useful to anyone who is curious about anatomy in martial arts - particularly instructors who are looking to structure warm around particular techniques. The book gives a few suggested exercises for each technique. I gave it 4 stars as they could have gone into a bit more detail on how the muscles are employed eg tricep coming into play for a punch and not bicep. Also they have a rating system for techniques eg speed, power which didnt seem to make much sense to me. But overall a good book and one of the few I have seen specific to martial arts. Definitely a must for any collection.

Don't Mess With Her! She's The Kung Foo Kid!
I like the idea that some mugger will meet his Waterloo at the hands of this girl and her companions. (Famous last words: "Give me your bag lady!") A bit like Death Wish with Mr Bronson. Better still if she dresses up as an infirm old lady in the heart of the dark city. Additionally an aluminium walking frame should be used as a prop. And, from some where the music called Every One Was Kung Foo Fighting to be playing. A good book.

Wow! I never know there is such reference book exists on the market. This book show various muscle groups with the right exercises for each group with tone of pictures. For example, I want to work on my kick, the book show me the best exercises for my kick.... there are different types of kick of course and there are different types of exercise here in this book. A BIG THANK YOU to the authors and Amazon which give me the possibilities and confidences. MTL
