This is such a perfect book of first words! The quality is awesome, it’s nice and big, and the pages are easy to open and turn for little hands. The illustrations are gorgeous and true to life! Both my two year old and my seven month old are enjoying looking through this book, and I’ll be buying more copies to give as gifts. I like how it’s so easy to talk about different things about each page with different ages. With my two year old, we talk about how all the items in the category are related, about the colors and facts about the items, or play a seek and find game. It’s calming, beautiful, educational, and high quality. What more could you ask for? Tabitha Paige is a staple on our bookshelves!

Another incredible book from Tabitha Paige! The pictures are beautiful and perfect for my toddler as he learns to identify real life objects and animals. Love how realistic and lovely the pictures are; I enjoy looking through this book just as much as my two year old does! This is an excellent gift for a child or a momma to be (I am already planning to purchase one for my sister in law). In the back of the book there are also suggestions for ways to use the book as your child grows and learns colors, shapes etc. Looking forward to enjoying this book for years to come! Update: Yesterday I spent nearly an hour looking at this book with my five year old niece. We played games, like looking for certain colors or looking for words that’s rhyme etc. So although I purchased it for my two year old, older kids definitely enjoy it as well!

cute and cozy, not too overly distracting or stimulating as to confuse your eyes or overwhelm the senses but it’s just perfectly warm and engaging and interesting ❤️

Tabitha Paige produces excellent work that is a gift to give a receive. I squeal with joy when I find she’s released a new book because they are beautiful works of art and an engaging way to get children to learn. As an SLP, I highly recommend her books. As a mom, I cherish her work and enjoy reading them to my children.

I originally purchased this book last year for a friend’s baby shower and loved it so much that I’ve since bought several more as gifts! The author/illustrator is a speech-language pathologist, which immediately caught my attention — and you can definitely tell these books are designed with little ones’ language development in mind. The watercolor illustrations are absolutely beautiful, and I appreciate that the colors are soft and muted so they aren’t overwhelming or overstimulating for babies. The overall design is so aesthetically pleasing while still being purposeful for building early speech and language skills. This has become one of my go-to baby gifts. Highly recommend for new parents, SLPs, or anyone looking for a high-quality, engaging first book for a little one!

Beautiful Beautiful illustrations! I'm slowly building a library for my daughter and I cannot wait to go through this book with her. Had several friends recommend for advancing speech in little ones.

Beautiful book. Bought for my nanny kid's first birthday, and she very soon came to love it. At 16 months she can now point to all the items with 80% accuracy. She loves that game! Some of the colors seem a little washed out (like green--in particular the limes, which look almost gray). But otherwise lovely illustrations and great variety of words.

I bought this for my fiancé’s baby niece and she’s OBSESSED! Even though Spanish is our first language, she loves looking at the pictures and will start learning the words soon enough. We specifically wanted something in another language to support early learning, and she’s very bright. The pages are thick cardboard and very sturdy. The illustrations are beautiful and low-stimulus, which makes it perfect for babies. We’ll definitely be buying more from this same line and publisher for our other nephews, and hopefully for our future children as well.
