To be fair, I did go to school for Engineering so soldering may not be for everybody. I even saw in the comments that someone left a one star review because they were guilty of buying this product without realizing they needed to solder. If you read this, why would you leave a one star review that’s on you lol. The reason I’m giving this product five stars is because of the completeness of the kit and the fact that the device worked as promised my PS five controller works just like new. I don’t mind having to solder. It’s not the person who sells the product who created the product that decided it needed to be soldered, but Sony themselves who built their controller that way. Let that be a lesson for anybody who feels cheated when buying this and not realizing you need to solder. There’s literally a video in the posting too.
