Top game for everyone
Such a good game for all ages. Everyone loves this. * Note: Play it using the whole pack until you run out, rather than counting who gets to 10 first. Much more fun.

Get you thinking...
Amazing card game, test the creativity of each players to the limit. Think 10+ is suitable as it requires player to give answer in various level of intensity. Naturally, the teenagers will give their wackiest answer which makes the game more engaging and fun. Enough cards to go a few rounds without repeat, even if so, you may require to give answer at different level of intense so a challenge for different answer, or the same, which make it funnier.

Quick competitive game
This was purchased as a travel game for a family of 4 with children of ages 5 and 9. On opening the box the children were excited by the art work on the cards as they looked appealing and fun. We looked through the cards and tried to work out what each meant. The cards themselves are well made and of a strong material. The rules were easy to understand and play began almost immediately. The game was quick, I would say a round can last between 15 and 30 minutes. It was fun and we enjoyed the competitive element when putting the exploding kitten back in a selected place so that you can choose who will explode next. Our 5 year old needed help to access this game as the cards were a little wordy and lots of rules to learn. However, our 9 year old picked it up really quickly and was able to play themselves.

Consistently voted as the game to pay first by my kids
We love this game so much, I bought it in a small grabby version to take away with us. It’s actually no different from the main version apart from the size of the box, and the fact that the main version has cards of one more colour mantis, and came with the funniest cartoon book I’ve ever read. The mantis shrimp is now my favourite animal too.

It's ok - probably better with lots of players
As a family who love playing games together, I expected a bit more from this game, especially as we really love Exploding Kittens. It's very easy to learn and play, but as a family, we definitely don't seem to have the hilarious shouty fun it describes. Maybe this is because we only have 4 players? Let me explain.... The game itself is a turn based game, to which players frantically search for a word or phrase beginning with one of the 3 letters on the upturned card. There are category cards and words must match the selected category of that particular round. Each round lasts 60 seconds and teams take turns to give a word - a correct word or phrase wins the card and a new letter card is turned. This continues until the 60 seconds are up. The game is aimed at 8 years and over, but my 9 year old daughter struggles to find words in certain categories - they go well over her head. Sometimes it's quite difficult thinking of a word beginning with certain letters and so there's not exactly any shouting once one is found, but more relief. To be honest, I think it would be better played in bigger teams, of ages 11+, this way there's more competition and more chance of amusing words and phrases being given. The game idea is really good, but as a family game, sadly for me, it just falls a bit short.

Really fun game. But for sure, only buy this one for travelling. The full party version is the best.

Acquistato per un regalo, quindi non ci sono metri di giudizio personali, ma nel momento di consegna, è sembrato apprezzato. Il gioco originale è invece molto divertente e questa è la versione tascabile

This is such a great game to have on hand to play when you are short on time or want to have a quick game before bed. It's quick, the rules are simple but it's fun. Essentially you choose to 'score' and collect cards to win or 'steal' from your opponents, making the call based on what you might pick up from three colours. The travel version only has one colour less than the full version and I think this game in itself is ideal for on the go so it's better value.
