I like these candies but they are more like a cough drop than a sweet hard candy.They do have a very distinct ginseng taste to them but they also have a strong menthol tasteand taste like cough drops.They make better cough drops than they do a sweet treat or hard candy.You can definitely taste the ginseng though.

The candies are individually packed, which is convenient if you want to keep just a couple of them in your backpack or purse as a refreshing, not overly sweet snack or to share them with your friends. Each candy is of a comfortable size to keep in your mouth. The candies have a distinct taste and smell of ginseng and a strong menthol flavor. The menthol refreshes the nose and throat when the candy is dissolving in the mouth, which makes them useful for relieving mild cold symptoms. Good, refreshing candies.

These candies are definitely a curiosity. They are much more like cough drops than candies. While they're interesting they're certainly not anything that I would crave or could get addicted to. They just are.

I do like that it is sugar free, but this is more of a lozenge than a candy, at least in my opinion. It tastes very strongly of ginseng and it is not a bad taste, although very strong and medicinal as expected though. It is just that candy is sweet and although this appears to contain some sweeteners, there is no sweetness whatsoever to this. It sort of tastes like how muscle rubs smell and feels similarly on the palate. These would be handy if you have a bit of a minor throat irritation or a cold, but I just can't recommend this product as a candy.

.Wonderful Korean quality candy treats. Good for you but taste like they're not. These are a real taste of Korea.We always keep these kind of treats handy......which explains why the bag disappeared shortly after it arrived. I found them already in use on someone's desk.A big bag at a GREAT value for red ginseng. SUGAR FREE ! Ginseng !!! Try some healthy candy. Stop eating those melted blobs of colored sugar. Give your tongue a treat as well.

I like these for when my throat is sore as these are more of a medicinal throat lozenge than a sweet candy. I love the taste of ginseng and these are not sweet, with a touch of mintiness to it. It is sugar free. These candies come in a bag that isn't resealable and each candy is individually wrapped.

I had no idea what to expect with these Reg Ginseng Candies, but on looking at the listing, and what situations they suggest you use these in, or for, and upon trying them myself- I think of these more as health lozenges than "candy". They have a very distinctive ginseng flavor, strong, sort of "ginger-like," with an interesting and not entirely pleasant floral or perfume-y afternote. A bit odd. (Note: My children object to the flavor of these.) Not overly sweet, not noticeably artificially sweet, more herbal than sweet actually. And I will tell you- they are super at soothing a very sore throat!!! That aspect really impresses me. This is a generous sized bag, 80 pieces of individually wrapped "candies" in all. They are hard candies, not gummies. My impression I'm left with after trying these, is that they are unique, will prove to be useful for soothing sore throats or a zingy ginseng experience, but not for "fun" candy eating. I do like them for the soothing purpose I stated.
