The battery came exactly as described. It arrived with all the tools needed to do the job and reasonable instructions, though I'd recommend you watch. video on the process too. Once installed it worked right away with my MacBook Pro and seems to be holding a good charge. Time will obviously tell how long it might last. Seems to be a good one on first impressions.

This A2519 battery is a replacement for the factory-fitted battery that comes as standard in a MacBook Pro 14" A2442 year 2021 model. It comes with all the necessary fitting tools, which is extremely helpful. Basic paper instructions are included too, but they're no substitute for watching a tutorial video that shows the entire battery-replacement process happening in real time, with important do's and don'ts mentioned along the way. I recommend watching the appropriate tutorial video online before you embark on replacing any laptop battery. I also recommend wearing an anti-static wristband whenever you're working inside any computer, even if you're only replacing a laptop battery. These wristbands are cheap, they last indefinitely, and they prevent the wearer from frying any computer components with static electricity from his or her skin. My ASMARK A2519 battery is freshly fitted and working well. Most laptop batteries do perform well when they're brand new. The real test of their quality is how well they maintain their efficiency over the course of several hundred charging and discharging cycles. For now, this one is performing perfectly. If its efficiency drops noticeably over the next year or so, I'll amend this review accordingly. The ASMARK battery comes with a 24-month warranty, which says much about the manufacturer's faith in the product. The battery also has multiple built-in protections and has several safety certifications. In short, it's a quality replacement battery. My only criticism is that the battery arrived securely boxed but the box was not sealed. All new batteries should be boxed AND sealed, so that there's no possibility of them being touched or tampered with between leaving the factory and reaching their buyer. That's something this manufacturer should resolve for the future.

I had high hopes for this replacement battery, but unfortunately it appears to be faulty. I’ve experienced three sudden drops in charge capacity when the battery level was below 25%, which is extremely frustrating. Even more concerning is the overheating issue. The MacBook is designed to slow down charging after 50% to manage heat, but this battery continues charging at 70W without throttling, causing it to overheat noticeably. Would not recommend based on this experience.

This replacement battery comes with all the tools required to replace it into your existing macbook. The engineering here is great, everything looks as good or better than the OEM units and once installed it looks like it is a premium unit. In use it acts just as you would expect, taking a full charge took a couple of hours and discharge is comparable to a new OEM unit, making this an ideal replacement for those that are suffering from quick discharge rates on their macbook. When you take into account the cost of having this done at a service centre, the cost is giving you a great saving and makes this a good value purchase. You should be confident that you can undertake this before purchasing, or know someone that can do it for you as if you buy this and make a mistake installing it, it can become quite costly, so please be aware that this isn't for the first timers of opening a device. Saying that, there are videos online that give advise on how to connect and disconnect them, which is the most problematic part, as it can be easy to damage the connectors if forced wrongly. 5 stars for being a good performing unit at a good price.

After 6 months after replacement, the battery has started shutting off at 30% now. Going to try and calibrate and will update.

Fantastic alternative to replacing the stock battery on these laptops. Installation was super simple if you understand the basics, this kit comes loaded with everything including the tool kit, gloves and glue to stick it. Will see how the battery performs after several uses but so far - the 2 weeks I've been using it - its been great ! Would recommend.

perfekte qualität, perfekte passform, laut mehreren batterie tools hat die batterie sogar überkapaziät... ich empfehle diese marke zu 100% ich habe bereits einige mitbewerber getestet alles nur AA zellen (A2442 schaltet sich bei unter 10% einfach ab , komische wiederstände gelötet etc...), diese batterie hier hat japanische AAA zellen welche super qualitativ sind und eine tollen job leisten! keinerlei probleme bis jetzt, ich habe sogar mehr Akku laufzeit als mit den originalen Apple Batterien :) , werde ab jetzt nur noch batterien von ASMARK kaufen! klare Empfehlung kleber die mitgeliefert sind halten super fest, keinerlei wackeln oder probleme bei der installation gehabt, 100% zufrieden! UPDATE: auch 2 monate später noch eine perfekte batterieleistung, ich bin noch immer voll überzeugt vom produkt!

Cette batterie est totalement compatible avec mon MacBook. Les prestations de changement de batterie chez Apple sont bien trop coûteuses pour ne pas considérer de le faire soit même avec des batteries génériques. J'ai donc installé cette batterie moi même grâce au kit fourni. Le fabricant fourni les étapes à suivre pour l'installation mais j'ai préféré suivre un tutoriel vidéo sur youtube et c'est ce que je vous conseille de faire aussi. Après près d'une heure de concentration pour ne pas faire de bêtises en remplaçant la batterie, le résultat était plus que satisfaisant. Mon MacBook a retrouvé une autonomie digne d'un laptop neuf (4-7h selon utilisation contre 1h avec l'ancienne batterie). J'espère que la durée de vie de la batterie ne sera pas trop courte car c'est généralement ce qui arrive avec les batteries génériques. Pour l'instant, je recommande !
