Great classroom resource to make learning hands-on!
We use these for an ancient civilization unit in my classroom and it’s a great way for kids to have a hands-on experience while learning about ancient civilizations! They get to be an archaeologist right in their own classroom! Easy to use and great for group work! Highly recommend!

Nice easter set
Very nice set, have both figures and minerals. My son (7 years) really enjoyed it, and I like that it is not candies :)

Fun and educational
5 yr old son loves these, digging and clearing about the world. Do it in a place easy to clean up since it is a little messy.

Excellent kit, but some incorrect facts.
My son (7) loves these kits where you get to dig out rewards (gemstones, fake fossils, pirate booty, etc.) and this one is one of the best he's had. He loved that there were two things in each globe and that they were real rocks and solid resin sculptures. He also liked matching the items he found with the cards and pages in the book that tell about the locations and items. He has decided to "pace" himself at only opening two globes per day so he can make it last. Pretty good self-control for a seven-year-old, I think! The only thing he wasn't wild about was the spray bottle. I think he wasn't patient enough to let the water soak in to make the globes easier to bust open. That didn't stop him though, he just busted them open without them being softened. My only issue with the set is that some of the facts on the cards are incorrect. I noticed two right away, which makes me question some of the other facts presented. One card says Europe is the only continent completely in the Northern Hemisphere, which isn't true. North America is also completely in the Northern Hemisphere. Also, the Asia card says the Maldives is the smallest country in the world. It's actually the 9th smallest. These countries are smaller (from smallest to largest): Vatican City, Monaco, Nauru, Tuvalu, San Marino, Liechtenstein, Marshall Islands, Saint Kitts and Nevis. Everything else I read I 'think' is true, but I'm not completely sure. There's also a mix of American and Eastern terms (sometimes miles are listed and sometimes kilometers, sometimes we see Mount Everest and others Mount Qomolangma, etc.). This isn't a huge deal but could be confusing to some.Overall though this is a great set. Perfect for sparking some curiosity to learn more and a wealth of information and fun souvenirs.

Fun project to do with grandson.
My grandson is five, and a bit overzealous. He needed a little guidance so not to hammer everything flat. But, together, we were able to fing three of the wonders and talk about each using the literature that came with the set. Nice gift! Messy, but highly recomment.

Perfect gift for my nephew!
I bought this for my nephew for his 6th birthday, and he loved it! It was a great activity to do with him, which made it even more fun. It was a little messy, but super easy to clean up! We all had a lot of fun playing with this, and I know he enjoyed every minute of it.
