Description of blanket: cool to touch, durable edges/sides, silky smooth and shiny, made of two thin layers yet is heavier than you'd expect (I think it's perfect that way -thin enough to be cool, heavy enough to be durable and substantial)My story: The place I live in unfortunately usually doesn't have air conditioning and there's nothing I can do about it. Well, trying to sleep when it's 83°F and humid in my room is difficult.I got this blanket at my wits' end, hoping it might help.It is very cool to the touch. However, I think in my situation, it's just too hot and humid and I radiate a lot of heat myself (which, fun fact, is the natural reaction of the body trying to lower its internal temperature). So the blanket warms up within like 5-10 minutes. The best I could do is sleep with it under me but even then it didn't do much.Currently I'm just putting my fan on full blast and somewhat physically adjusting to the heat. :')However, it works better in the daytime since I can keep moving it over to a cool part. I'm thinking it could even be nice to bring outside and cool myself from the summer sun.

I got this for an 8 year old who sleeps hot. He says this blanket doesn't overheat him and is comfortable

Never heard of theses before. Sweating: side affect from med.Put on bed and not been sweating...

Awesome product! I love being covered while sleeping even if I’m too hot, and this blanket is perfect. I actually keep a fuzzy throw on the bed with me because sometimes I wake up freezing!! Even in the summer. Such a cool product

Dont know what these reviews are talking about but i bought two super excited. Then I pulled it out and tried it and it was the hugest disappointment in the world. Its in par with getting in a sheet. Alittle cool but quickly hot. Save your money.

I like the cooling of the blanket. But I ordered it in a size Queen. It came in a twin. It is much different than other cooling blankets I have had. Looks and feels more like a sheet. I do not care for it.

I like to sleep with my fan and my partner does not. This blanket is life changing. Keeps me super cool through the nice. It’s perfect. Best purchase ever. I can sleep comfortably without a fan now and be cool. Love it!!! Washed it once and it washes nicely as well. No issues on that front.

I am a pretty hot sleeper and this blanket has saved me! Cooling function works- it feels like water.
