It fits his main container, snacks, and an ice pack without being bulky or awkward to carry. The insulation works really well and keeps everything cold for hours, which is a must for his long days. This is a well made, classic style and great size. I think it's great for kids or adults. The brand has a well deserved reputation for the endurance of their products. I gave it as a gift in black. The recipient loved it and added some patches of their own. Holds an ice pack without issues and kept lunch and dinner the right temp. I would buy again. Priced great! I think I may have got it on a special.

Exactly what my grandson wanted. Sturdy and roomy but will fold down after lunch and fit in his backpack. I added a frozen cold pack in it this morning with a yogurt, then checked it an hour later and everything was nicely chilled! It's well made and should hold up.......now if I can just keep him from losing it!

I bought the small Carhartt lunch bag. It's the perfect size, not really small... it hold lots of things... a couple of12 oz beverages, sandwich or two, fruit and more. Insulated, nice construction, good quality and one of the best out there. Highly recommended

Perfect size for food and beverage. Large ice pack fits easily into zippered mesh pocket. Matches my Carhartt horizontal zip bag perfectly! I intend to use these bags until I retire. They are incredibly durable and weather resistant.

Matches well with my entire Carhartt ensemble. Bibs, t-shirt, flannel shirt, shirt jac and now insulated lunch sack. Well made and durable. I like the hook detachable handle. I can hook and unhook the handle around my toolbox, briefcase or bow bag when I am going from my truck (it is required to have a truck when you wear Carhartt) to my deer stand or job site, which free up a hand for an energy drink, black coffee (not Starbucks, but gas station) or chili dog. The bag fell out of the deer stand (my fault, I had it balanced on my knee and was distracted by the weasel) and was savaged by a weasel. I poked it with a stick and washed it with a hose pipe and it was good to go on Monday. Of course, the weasel made off with the Cajun turkey sandwich, but that was replaceable. This is a statement bag, the statement being: "I like lunch and don't like hot mayo and tuna". Buy this bag if you want something that protects against savage weasels and keeps your lunch cold or hot until you are ready to nosh on it. And yes, we have no bananas....
