Backpack insecticide sprayers commonly use a hose with a M18-1.5 interface thread, but use a gasket-style seal. Such spray units can greatly benefit from the addition of quick disconnects such as these. I purchased these for my backpack sprayer and they work great. BUT, I had to re-machine the sealing surfaces to accommodate a gasket-type seal. Company needs to also provide them with a M18-1.5 thread and gasket-style seal.

I used this my Flowzone Typhoon 3 to create quick connections for removing my hose from the backpack. Its easy to install and works great.
