This is very convenient and helped us a lot during our travels. Now we are giving this to one of our friend as a gift.

This is a very nice rug but it is not a traditional rug that you keep on the floor, as you know, it is a prayer rug. Until I got this purple themed one, I di not know there would be a difference in construction. As you can in my closeup photos the rug is a little wavy due to some padding. It is more like a blanket in this regard and that makes sense, to make it more comfortable, for kneeling. The rug is beautiful, the pattern is exquisite and the construction is well done. It does not compare to an Afghan or any middle eastern rug but that is ok, the cost of this rug is very affordable. In one of my photos is shown one of my more expensive rugs which is worth hundreds of dollars. I got this to use as a regular rug and I wanted to point out to anyone who is considering the same that you should not expect it to lay like one. If you are getting this as a prayer rug then I think you will be happy. I think any Muslim who gets this would probably happy with it, it is not made in the big C but is made in Turkey, a country with a large Muslim community. I am very happy with this rug, it is a good value and it is beautifully made.

I ordered this rug as a gift for my mom and she loved it! She said it was better than the rug I got for her at twice the price! She thought the flowers and individual pieces was hand made. The color and patterns go together really well to paint a whole picture and design. It is the perfect size and the materials are soft and thick at the same time. I would definitely recommend this beautiful rug as a gift or accent piece.
