Low Dose Adult Chewable Aspirin 81mg I was curious about the term "low dose adult aspirin" as I've always heard it referred to as "baby aspirin" so I looked it up. Apparently, the term baby aspirin is outdated because you're not supposed to give aspirin to anyone under the age of 19 without doctor's orders. I know a lot of people take low dose aspirin for their heart, but didn't realize that it's no longer called baby aspirin. I actually purchase it for my husband but just figured that it's because it's not the chewable kind. I was eager to get these because I have nostalgia for the taste of baby aspirin from when I was a kid - back before they realized that it can lead to Reye's syndrome. These are close to what I remember though not quite exact. But they are great for those who have a hard time swallowing pills. I took off a star because there is no dosage information on the bottle that I can find. Those taking it for heart conditions have their orders from a doctor (usually one per day), but it can also be used for minor aches and pains, but it doesn't give any guidance of how many to take.
