The Royal Collection: The King Speech / The Queen / The Young Victoria / Shakespeare In Love / Vanity Fair

These are classic movies, the 2 best being the Oscar winning films The Queen and The Kimg's Speech. Helen Mirren and Colin Firth gave amazing performances, as did Geoffrey Rush. Overall, a terrific group of films. The discs were well packaged and delivered ahead of schedule.

This Set was made and released to coinside with the Royal marriage of Prince William and his special Bride Kate. The FIVE Royal Movies enclosed are all absolutly great motion pictures. THE QUEEN, THE KINGS SPEECH, THE YOUNG VICTORIA, SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE AND VANITY FAIR. All HD Blu-Rays!. Also enclosed with this must have Royal Set, are Rare Collectable post cards, and a limited deluxe Royal purple ribbon Bookmark with a gold metal crown on one end an a gold metal end. The Royal Purple packaging is very nicely done for each of the movie disks, all designed in a book form. With all lettering done in metallic Gold. The movie disk section is divided by a gold satin ribbon. All this, for under $20. Added to your collection, you can display these lil pieces out of British History with pride.

I have viewed all but one of the collection and enjoyed the variety and quality of each film very much. Were it not for the fact I have not viewed them all at this time I would probably have given it five stars. The one I have not yet viewed is "Vanity Fair" as I am now reading the book. I wanted to read it before I viewed it as I felt this would enhance my viewing experience and the book was on hand.I feel confident once I do view the last film that I will enjoy it as much as the others. I will view them again that much too is certain. I had seen various reviews critical of the visual or sound quality but do not let that persuade you to deny yourself this collection. Should anyone be considering this collection I encourage them to proceed with the purchase as they will in all probability enjoy it very much.

This is a collection of five great movies for a fantastic price. The Blu-Ray picture and sound are great, the packaging is well thought out and sturdy. I bought these primarily to put into my VUDU on-line digital library; they added a much needed touch of class to my already action movie heavy collection.

I just received this set and cannot play on my computer's DVD player - so sad! This is the second set of these movies I have ordered and cannot play. Please share if there is a secret to play these movies - especially Young Victoria and King's Speech - top 10 favorite movies of all time!

Every movies in this collection is a gem! I love the packaging. It fits on the bookshelf nicely and the bonus "Royal" bookmark I found inside was a pleasant surprise. I like the pictures, too. They show shots of the actors I had not seen before.

What do you get older, comfortable loved ones that have most everything - THE ROYAL COLLECTION!!! It was a very elegant, lovely presentation of these great movies! I was so pleased; it was perfect! Thank you, Amazon!!!
