Amazon Brand - Wag High Protein Dry Dog Food Turkey & Lentil Recipe, Grain Free (30 lb. Bag)

Wag is Amazon's house brand of premium dog food. I'm a scientist and compared the ingredients from a number of dry dog foods before deciding to choose Wag. My reasons included: i) it's grain freed. The type of Wag I buy for my Golden is salmon and lentil. My dog has a sensitive stomach and some skin itching and salmon is supposed to help with these problems. ii) dogs need protein and Wag has one of the highest amounts of protein of other dog foods to which I compared it. iii) dogs need a good deal more fat than we humans do--and, again, Wag fills the bill.One other factor is cost. I want to emphasize that I love my dog enough that I'd pay more if I thought there was another dog food that provided better nutrition without the bulk and cost of prepaid wet meals. What I'm saying is that if you are looking for a quality dry dog food that 'checks the boxes' of important components like, grain free; high protein and appropriate fat concentration with other vitamins and nutritiens, give Wag a look on line. I and my dogs love the food a my dogs muscles have very good definition, but recently I can’t get it anymore and had to change my dogs diet and now their losing muscle and eating more of the new food since it’s less protein. I keep my bowls full and with wag both dogs was good with one bowl and now they are eating 4 bowls a day which means their missing the protein.

my puppy eats it. he doesn't run to it, but at least he eats it every now and then. before I had a hard time getting him to eat any form of kibble, I tried this from researching reviews online and I can say that this was a worthwhile purchase. any kibble that he eats is a plus. the ingredients must appeal to him. I will give it a try again.

I was looking for an alternative to other more expensive brands and this Amazon Wag dog food was something to try.When it arrived, I opened up the bag, put in a couple of scoops into the dog bowl and our dog chowed it down faster than any other brand I have purchased.Give it a try, your dog will appreciate it.

My dog is a picky eater. She loved this. But unfortunately she needed to poo much more both quantity and frequency on this. I’ll try another variety of this brand eventually.

One article says grains are a necessary part of the diet and another says the opposite. My dog loves this and I mix it in with her grain free food. I want to be sure my baby gets what she needs.

I needed beef and grain free food for my dogs and this fit the criteria. The dogs loved it and healed due to gluten and chicken byproduct allergies. But everytime I try to buy more, it’s out of stock. Very frustrating.
