Much better than the reviews would lead you to believe.
I came here to clarify that reviewers beating this product down are exactly why major companies are hesitant to enter this nascent industry. I've been using e-ink monitors since 2018, and this Philips model is the first one I've used that was built by an established company rather than a startup -- and it shows. Its a solidly build product costing half as much as any other comparable eink monitor in the market currently. I also use a Boox Mira (purchased two years ago for Rs 70K) and own a 24-inch Dasung. In terms of price and craftsmanship, Philips wins. The edges of my Boox Mira are literally bursting at the seams - that is exactly what I mean by 'startup build quality.' The Dasung is better, but it isn't portable. I take the Philips to work and it does its job perfectly. The screen quality reminds me of a model I used in 2020, but that one cost four times the price. The biggest plus however is the build. For an eink monitor that's a first and is huge. Lastly, comparing this to LED/LCD screens is ludicrous. If you need that specific type of visual quality, you are looking at the wrong product category. You will learn to live with the lag, the ghosting images, the resolution (its lower on this model than the SOTA, but then again the latter costs upwards a lakh and can't be purchased directly in India). I have severe dry eyes syndrome and nothing else works for me. I give it 5 stars.

Doesn’t work as described
This monitor makes many claims and being from Philips one tends to take it a genuine. But unfortunately it is not at all useable and I know eink and have used several eink book readers and tablets. This monitor doesn’t come close, in fact it is so bad that I suspect it is being sold only in india. Not seen on US Amazon. Text resolution is very poor.

Most Accessible e ink monitor in India
A perfect accessible monitor for e ink enthusiasts. Great if you read a lot of articles and want to avoid eye strain. If you ever owned a kindle you’d understand the benefits of e ink. Purchased from seller “Gupta Computer Care”.

Worst product supplied
Worst product supplied. Video is not clear. Not connecting to phone. Company has not even provided support and not attended till now even after several complaints and rising of ticket. It has become inevitable for me to take legal action both against Phillips Company, supplier, and Amezon. Very bad thing! Do not buy!

Good monitor
Good monitor for eyes. Mouse cursor is slow & lags behind but for e ink display it is acceptable. Overall excellent product. Thanks to the seller for making it available.

Good Monitor only for text and Eink enthusiastic
If you are using Kindle and looking for a bigger size of eink device then it is for you. For the price of ₹25k it is worth. I have tested for HDMi and USB display both are working fine. You have adjust the text background to read online and offline content. I am using it as secondary monitor only for reading purpose. If you are looking for primary monitor for your work then it is not for you. A slow and small cursor will make you struggle during the initial use, it is the only monitor available currently in India with Eink. You can buy and enjoy your reading without hurting your eyes. Happy Reading.

Extreme lag, ghosting
The monitor is not worth it. There's extreme mouse lag making it unusable. Not only that, there's unexpected level of ghosting.
