Transforms the amp – worth every cent
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This 48V / 10A GaN power supply is an absolute game changer. I’m using it with a Fosi V3 in my home office, driving B&W DM603 S3 floorstanding speakers, and the difference compared to the stock PSU is not subtle. With this power supply, the amp gains noticeably more headroom, control, and authority, especially in the bass. Bass is tighter and more confident, dynamics improve, and the overall presentation sounds more effortless. The amp feels far less constrained at moderate listening levels, and transients come through cleaner and with better impact. Build quality is excellent — compact, well-finished, and it runs cool thanks to the GaN design. No noise, no coil whine, no instability. It’s been completely reliable in daily use. If you’re running a Fosi (or similar compact Class D amp) and wondering whether the higher-voltage PSU is worth it — it absolutely is. This power supply lets the amplifier perform at its full potential. Highly recommended upgrade.

Best clean/neutral power for A07 Max
This is a high value product. The upgrade from the 36v stock brick to this beastie was well worth the price. The A07Max amp class D amps just soak up the current and deliver it smooth and unadulterated with the stock neutral chipset. I have seen frequency graphs and these things are very quiet. Good filters and cables are necessary for any audio. I had to order new female C17 Copper plugs for the Viborg cables as the new GaN bricks do not use the figure-8 style C8 so tack on $80 for a pair. I did not realize how much larger the bricks were until they arrived. I am very impressed. These are value priced and fast-ship. I normally run them for my Dolby Atmos speakers. They double as 300w/8 ohms monoblocks now. 1970 Coral BX-Multi1200e speakers with 1960’s 16/8 ohm NT-3B pro crossovers. Belden 9470 audiophile wiring. Recapped Miflex KPAL and Mundorf Evo Oil caps. 999 pure silver in clear pvc for reach. It takes time for good music to happen. These warm up to cruise after 3-4 hours.

Strong and quiet bricks. DGM
These GaN smps are strong, quick, and quiet. I also use an additional emi/rfi dc filter to power two 3e Audio A7 mono class D amplifiers. They never run warm.

Ground loop issue. Returning.
Sadly I failed to read the one star reviews in this case and became yet another person to experience an immediate ground loop issue. This power supply is grounded whereas the original one is not. No loop with the original. Immediate hum with this one.

makes a whooshing sound
Connected to the Aiyima V70 as an upgrade. The amplifier is connected with balanced inputs, however when I switched the original power supply with this one, suddenly the completely silent background was replaced with a whooshing sound. After some experimentation, I found that there is a significant ground current that is generated in the ground wire, and that creates a ground loop with the rest of the system, injecting this high frequency noise in a way that is impossible for the balanced inputs to cancel out. I am a practicing electrical engineer, and ground currents from switching power supplies are nothing new (I use a 500W Mean Well power supply for a project at work, and it puts 5mA into the ground wire !) but this bothers me for an audio application, especially when the original brick is so well done. I also noticed that if I lift the ground, the noise is completely gone, but I am not willing to have a powerful unit like this one floating without a solid ground. I measure 260mV rms on the ground of the DC connector with the scope connected to the same AC circuit and the same ground. That is Ok for safety, but not OK for audio. Has anyone else noticed this problem ? if I return it, will I get another unit that has the same issue ? I haven't returned it yet, but I am thinking about it. Update: seller reached out and offered a refund. I have not accepted it yet, since I wanted to try to fix the problem myself. I bought a 6 inch 15A extension cord and spliced in 2 6A / 1000V diodes back to back into the ground line. These diodes allow 0.6V before they start conducting, so under normal conditions they are off and the unit is floating. If any fault happens, then they start conducting and drain the current away. Works like a charm !!! the noise is gone. I added 1 star to my review because of the refund offer.

It's powering an audio amplifier.
It's still working. Lets see how long it lasts.

Zeer goede voeding, erg blij mee, zit achter een Douk A5 en het laag is veel stakker.

Not much larger than the less powerful standard 5 amp non-GaN power supply. Wish this upgrade was provided as an option when purchasing the amplifier rather than an expensive addition.

Jo, man merkt im oberen Lautstärke Bereich mehr Hubraum gegenüber dem 48V 5A. Im Normalfall aber überflüssig. "Besser haben als Brauchen".

Buen prodicto

These are great with the Fosi za3 amplifiers. Makes the bass more solid and controlled and the vocals more dynamic. I have 4 of them each running a za3 as a monoblock, quad amping a difficult to drive set of Neat speakers. Really good.
