This is simply the basin to catch the water (and hopefully ear wax) that flows from your ear after you fill a separate earwax removal system (bulb or plunger) with warm water and flush the ear with the appropriate temperature warm water. By flushing your ear with the warm water along the inside walls of you ear (never directly) you hopefully cause the wax and flushed water to swirl and easily come out into the basin as you hold it tight underneath your ear.
