Was looking for dye recipes, this book is more for color planning. I returned because it was not what I thought it would be. Certainly a nice book explaining more about how to plan colors. This book was in eecellent condition.

Great book for color planning. This is written for the rug hooker, but the elements will work for any artistic purpose!!

The exercises in the book could easily be used in classroom setting, too. I only consume a chapter at a time.

Easy to understand and applicable to many arts and crafts not just rug hooking!I will use what I learned in this book for rug hooking but also for stained glass. One of the best books I have bought in a long time.
