It was packaged in a box with styrofoam formed to fit product, not loose or jiggly. Nice color darkishish grey/black - however, you can paint using enamel or even some outdoor cratft paints.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOT true Cast Iron!

I have seen alot of comments about this Door Knocker. It is NOT true Cast Iron, however, for the money I think this is decent for the cost. Mine did come with Hardware, but not the correct kind, so I had to go & buy some from Home Depot to install it. You MUST have a Drill to install this, along with bits to pre-drill holes. I didn't install it with the Toggle Bolts that came with it, just metal flat screws as it went on my apartment door. There are NO instructions that come with it, so expect it to only come packed in Styrofoam in a plain box. Overall, it's good for the money, kind of difficult to install, but does look nice on my door.
