Bought this to replace an old Fluval 4 which died after 30 years of sterling service.I was a little skeptical that such a small item would be sufficient but all seems good so far. The images/videos suggest a strong stream of bubbles. Don't expect to see this in practice without external assistance. I took a spur off another pump to provide airflow with good results.For reference it's running in a 170L tank.

Put in Fluval Roma 125L tank to supplement the Fluval U3 which was a little underwhelming. This seems to be a good addition.

Had this for a few months now and is my lads Axo tank. Definitely does the job and is not too loud.Does pump water pretty well and had to put it in the lowest setting as Axo's dont like the the water rushing too much. Cleaning can be a touch tough though as the clasps are hard to get off and I ended up breaking one clasp. The filter is just a green sponge and is easy to clean out.Overall, not bad at all for a small tank.

Bought this for my tank . Initially it was ok for a week and then it wasn't working as well had to clean it weekly even though very little to clean out. Wasn't as powerful with oxygen flow greatly diminished. Went back to the original one. Build ok but wouldn't buy again

turned item on was making a awful high pitch noise kept doing it for around 10 mins didnt stop so i sent it back

I have had the 8w internal filter since October 15 and have had small issues with it maintaining flow which had been resolved by intermittent cleaning which was fine. However today it will run for 5 minutes and then stop again, I have taken the whole filter apart and cleaned it although it has made no difference. I have contacted the seller and currently awaiting response

The media could not be loaded. I got the smaller of the two for my 27L tank and it is great!It oxygenates the water really well and you can turn the bubbles off if you like and just have the pump.This pump is so easy to assemble and maintain, you clean the filter every 1-2 weeks, which is really easy to do. It is a little noisey with the bubbles but for me that does matter. It is quieter without bubbles. You just adjust the valve to change from one to another.I can't recommend this enough, easy and compact, perfect.
