My daughter has been making books since 2019, generally using a book glue that works but is lacking in some areas. THIS glue offers a lot more flexibility to the book binding - holding the book together while still allowing some room for bending without cracking. It's best to have a glue melting pot to heat the glue up and keep it at a consistent temperature, of course. I like that this glue comes in pellet form, waiting to be heated up to be used. The liquid glue tends to start solidifying over time, becoming unusable. The glue pellets look like little pieces of white plastic - and they sort of feel like that, too. I look forward to seeing what my daughter creates with the proper book binding glue - using all sorts of textures that weren't possible to use with liquid glue.

Works really well, binds well, the heat point is much higher than I am used to but once it gets there, it holds as well as you would expect.

I haven't fully started binding with this glue yet, but a test melt showed that it melts well and evenly with a little stirring. It also seems capable of both dipping or brushing on the spine so if you're using a book vice, you have both options. I did notice it start to get a little stringy when it starts to cool, so be sure to keep it at working temp while in use.Excited to use this more as I feel it is going to add a level of professionalism to my book binding projects.

This is amazing glue. It is not clear, but for our purposes it was just what we needed. You DO have to have one of those big glue melting pots to properly use this, and pay attention to whether or not you need the high or low temps- different applications for different glues. I recommend and the sturdy box to keep it neat was much appreciated.
