But, I thought I knew better and ordered the 8.5, The length was too long and they also rubbed my ankle bone on the sides … I returned #1 (easily). So I ordered the 8 as suggested. I tried them on a couple times but the width just wasn’t wide enough…. Returned #2. (Again easily). Ordered #3…. 8.5 wide! Like Goldilocks #3 was the charm. The width is good.
