I was surprised that the Eagle 7 didn't come with any sort of cover. I would think that you would want a cover to protect the screen and buttons. But maybe they're thinking that you've purchased the new Eagle 7 to replace the old Eagle 7 and you've already got a cover. But that wasn't my case. Or maybe they're thinking that you're going to be using the new Eagle 7 so much that you wouldn't ever have down time where a cover is necessary. That's not my case either. While I love my new Eagle 7, I don't expect to use it more than a few hours each day, mostly on the weekends, only when the weather is nice, and only in the late spring, summer and early fall. So, I'm expecting that my Eagle 7 will probably be sitting idle for at least 80% of it's life. And to protect the screen and buttons of my new Eagle 7, I want a cover. As you might expect from a cover that is supposed to fit an Eagle 7, the cover fit my Eagle 7 perfectly. It stays on when I want it on. It comes off with a little effort when I want to take it off. The plastic feels good and solid.
