This rice rocks! The flavor and texture are perfect. I mix it with some fresh greens, grilled chicken and fig balsamic dressing. Super YUMMY!

I like this rice because it is convenient to use and it is not super-dry or super-clumped like other brands of pre-cooked rice I've used. However, I do wish there were less coconut flakes in it. There's just too much coconut. Coconut flakes should be a subtle flavor enhancer and instead they make up a decent amount of the volume here.

Great tasting and easy preparation

Whenever I think of superfood, I think of a bland or extra green tasting food, not a slightly sweet rice that's a bit chewy and very satisfying to eat like this one! This rice can be eaten with a protein and a side of vegetables or even could even be eaten for breakfast, and you'd feel good about it because of the antioxidants in it. It's easy to prepare - basically like any other rice in a pouch - and very convenient - even an older child could do it.With all of the colds and flus going around all year long, it's almost essential to make sure you're consuming superfoods with antioxidants in it. I highly recommend it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

It is an interesting, special variety of rice with a deep purple color and a unique, delicious flavor. It is soft and aromatic just like jasmine rice. It is considered a superfood due to its uniquely high level of antioxidants. It is a delicious and healthier alternative to regular rice.This comes pre-cooked with coconut milk and flakes and packaged in convenient, easy-to-prepare packets. There are 6 packets in this product. It is easy to prepare. Simply partially tear open a packet and microwave for 90 seconds, or boil unopened in water for 5 minutes. The coconut flavor is nice and quite creamy. It tastes good and smells wonderful. It goes well in lieu of regular rice with any dishes.Overall, I really like this pre-cooked Jasberry rice. It is easy to prepare, good-tasting and aromatic. It is pretty similar to regular rice but in a unique, deep purple color. It is certified organic, gluten-free and non-GMO. The rice is grown in Thailand. At $4 per packet (2 servings), it is a pretty good value for the money. It's worth giving it a try. A delicious and healthy rice alternative.

Jasberry Organic Rice with Coconut Flakes arrived quickly and had a unique color: the rice is purple! It cooks quickly in the microwave, but it's VERY bland! There's a touch of sweetness from the coconut, but as a whole it's not very enjoyable. I am not sure which seasonings or sauce could make it better.

There's a bit of sugar added, but it's not excessive.We tried ours with homemade Pad Thai. It was a pleasant combination. We're pretty sensitive regarding texture, and this is a bit gummy.
