Same great customer service, ordered more and still pleased with the help this product gives me while I deal with the source of the issues.Air quality is such a variable issue, so it may not be for you, but this is an easy to use option to use chlorine dioxide, a product proven to help with odors.2012 review: I've been dealing with several indoor air quality issues for a while now. I've had testing done by three companies and have not been able to pinpoint the exact source of the problems - there seems to be more than one problem.Recently something at home has been burning my eyes and nose. The next place in the house to look for the problem is going to be either tearing out walls or floors. Neither are going to be cheap or easy.I've been looking at chlorine dioxide because it is "designed to oxidize smoke, mold, pet, mildew and other odors at the source". I could not easily use the fast acting, shock treatments since you have to clear the house for days, so I tried this extended release because you and your pets don't have to leave and it's supposed to be safe for anything in your house.Within an hour of setting up the canister, I've had complete relief. If you put the canister within a few inches of your nose, you can smell a light bleach odor. But in the middle of the house, all I smell is clean air and my nose and eyes are not burning. It's amazing. If the smell is too much for you, you can adjust the top to be anywhere from fully open to fully closed. The container is heavy duty so I don't worry about it breaking. The product turns to gel so I don't worry about it spilling.The seller is amazing as well. I had a question about this and their other products, and sent an email on Friday night. That night around 11:30 pm, I received a response. Dan sent me his phone number. I would never call anyone that late, so I followed up on Monday. He sent me more information and offered to do whatever he could to help. Their website shows that Beckart handles company and municipality wastewater treatment. If the extended release continues to work, I intend to try the fast acting shock treatment.The variables with odors and molds are so numerous that I can't say 100% that this will work for you. But it is working amazingly for me and if you have weird odors, mold, or bacteria, even if you don't know the source, I suggest you give Beckart's products a try.

Wish I knew about this decades ago when my cars sometimes developed a moldy smell that I finally learned was due to cracks forming in the body allowing small amounts of water to seap into the passenger area. So many uses for this absolutely any place a smell or mold or mildew forms -- even in the refrigerator to prevent mold on food and extend fresh produce use by date.

I bought these to try and clear up a lingering musty odor in my home. However after 2 weeks, there has be no change at all. I tested these with some Lamotte test strips, and it showed that within 5 mins, the gel solution was at 500 ppm CLO2, and after 24 hours it showed they were over 500 ppm of CLO2.. and yet there is virtually NO chlorine dioxide gas coming out of them. Even smelling it within 1 inch of the opening of the bottle with the cap off, I still can't smell anything! It's almost as if the gel that is formed is so think that's it's preventing the escape of any CLO2 gas at all. Meaning that, in theory this product is a good idea, but in practice it's completely worthless and a waste of perfectly good money.

I could tell that this stuff works and I've ordered a few times even though it's not the cheapest. The real fix is to go to the source and fix that. In my case I have done a lot to remedy that. If it was more affordable I would keep one of these in my son's bathroom all the time!

Rented a house from out of state that looked great online....1 problem...it W R E A K E D! Horrible pet - wet odors with a lingering perfume smell to try to hide the obvious. Bought 6 of these, it has really removed 95% of the odors in a few weeks time. The best approach was to close the doors in each room I placed them in....the quickest results were the smallest areas first - the closets and laundry room where there was a strong musty and mildew smell. It works because the chlorine dioxide gas reaches and eradicates the source of the odor. I will re-do some of the larger rooms but very, very pleased with being able to breathe and put my clothes inside the closet! No more smell in there at all! Just smells fresh and clean now. NICE!

Got rid of a subtle odd smell that had been in our apartment for years

As long as you're aware of the limitations on removing the odor, not the source of the odor, then it is an ok product I have a strong water damage odor from inside a wall and since this is a rental I cannot tear the walls out. This was under the kitchen sink and helped for a couple of weeks but after two weeks not so much. My biggest issue was that I was working under that sink last night and my throat and nose started to react to the chemical. I couldn't stop what I was doing and I was down there for one hour. my mouth and throat tasted like chemical all day today and I couldn't drink enough water to feel hydrated. My heart was also bouncing around inside my chest most of the day. Be careful with this stuff. It is a toxic agent after all.

Wish I had started with this product. Wasted so much time and effort and money on all the typical solutions suggested on the Internet such as bleach, baking soda, and several of the more exotic chemical voodoo recommendations. None of it worked, but this stuff worked wonders. Took 2 applications spaced a couple weeks apart, but saved my RV refrigerator from the RV appliance graveyard. Well worth the money, and the slight lingering chlorine smell, honestly - slight, which I found refreshing compared to the stench before.
