Newtral Ergonomic Office Chair, Ergonomic Mesh High Back Desk Chair, Computer Task Chair, with Footrest, Adaptive Lumbar Support

I ordered this chair to replace a decent but less comfortable desk chair since I find myself working from home most days now. Wasn't too excited about many of the options out there. This Newtral chair caught my eye because it has a padded seat vs. the mesh seat bottom like my old chair. Assembly was actually easier than most chairs I have assembled, and the instructions were accurate and all hardware included. The build quality is above average: It feels sturdy and well built. Seat is very comfortable compared to the mesh. It is made of a dense foam with a fabric cover. I have a sit/ stand desk so I am sitting off/ on for maybe half of each day while working. Adjustments: Being able to move the lumbar support up or down is nice. I am 6'1 and I had no trouble getting it in the right spot. The lumbar can also be in a fixed position or set to follow you when you recline. The large orange dial on the back adjusts the lumbar tension. You can adjust the recline tension, requiring more or less resistance when you push back to recline. The chair reclines back further than most office chairs I have owned. The arm rests rotate in and out, up and down. I think most people should be able to find the right spot. The footrest is a clever addition! It's nice to kick up your feet once in a while and close your eyes for a quick power nap. I added the optional tray even though I don't see myself using it often. It is also well designed, and requires no assembly. I have used it a couple times to put my keyboard and mouse on while I sit at the desk. The only word of warning I will share about this is if you have even a minor Dad bod belly you may find it's a tight fit due to the the way it slides onto the arm rests, even when they are in the most forward position. Overall I am very happy with this chair. I feel it's very good quality for the price!

This Newtral ergonomic office chair has been a solid upgrade for my workspace. The adaptive lumbar support really makes a difference — it adjusts naturally as you move, keeping your lower back supported without having to constantly reposition yourself. The 4D armrests and adjustable seat depth are great for customizing the fit, and the footrest is a surprisingly nice touch. Having the desk attach so easily is exactly what I needed in a space that has no place for a stationary desk. A few components took a little extra time to adjust just right, but once everything was set, the comfort level improved noticeably. Overall, a well-made, supportive chair.

This chair is really wonderful. The legres is really a nice touch. The flexibility and options on the chair are great. The only thing that is not as stellar. As I expected. Was the adjustable backrest only because the spring is two week to support my back. it is still very comfortable, even in a fixed position. The desk is a little close to my belly, but it is still workable and very nice.

Pretty good chair overall, some things I hope they fix in future iterations. Pros: - Seat is a good firmness. Quite comfortable after long sessions. - The footrest is one of the best I've seen on a chair. Good cushioning and no hard plastic edges to bang your ankles into. For once, they got a foot rest that goes out far enough. Cons: - For me, the backrest is too upright and the lumbar support is barely noticable. - The "feature" of this chair is the piston action support for the headrest and back rest, I don't think this contributes much to the overall sitting experience of this chair. If anything, it actually takes away some features I think this chair would benefit from. - The arms do not recline with the rest of the chair, well they do, but not enough. Theres a huge gap when youre fully reclined and you don't get much arm support. - I hope to see a future version of this chair that has adjustble back height without having to unscrew the back rest. It is quite the hastle just for a simple adjustment. Overall, I would say the sitting experience is decently good just not a great fit for me.

I’ve been looking for something that is comfortable and functional for my office. I love that I can recline back and still work when I have aches. The assembly was extremely easy. Huge plus with the attachable table. Biggest pros: Helps with my neck pain, helps keep my wrists from hurting at the end of that day, keeps the blood circulating to my legs. Works perfect for wha I intended to use it for.

Thought it would be a gimick but it works well. Needs a bit of adjusting the seat forwardness that's not something in the manual but can be done by pulling the lever and moving the seat forward while sitting on it. Only question is now what is the tablet stand in the image.

UPDATE: Newtral reached out and is sending a replacement leg base. One of the legs sheered off today. The chair was purchased in October.

This chair is amazing - I am very short (4' 10") due to spinal problems and this chair allows me to adjust everything to create a really custom fit that has had a huge effect on my comfort level. It was also fairly easy to assemble (I did so alone). The reason for the 4 stars intsead of 5 is that I also ordered the tray. Its not usable. For anyone: To use the try, you have to slide it over both arms, at the same time- ie, you have to be IN the chair. So, if you want to have your laptop with screen extender hanging off the side, probably your phone, maybe a TV remote, maybe a beverage or your snacky-snack.... all of that needs to be in reach while sitting in a high chair OR you have to have it all ON the tray when you lift it into position and chunkily slide it onto both arm rests while sitting. Repeat if you need to stand up..... Add to that - due to the way I have the chair for my small stature - there is less than 6 inches between the chair back and the front edge of the tray - so, even if I COULD fit in those 6 inches, the laptop would still be right up against me. It is because the chair IS So comfortable and adjustable that this gets 4 stars instead of lower.
