Great Price for a Great Battery
The battery is great and provides excellent runtime using it with a Makita XGT (40V) leaf blower. I bought this from Amazon as a spare - at a price that was much lower than elsewhere. What I got seems to be a genuine Makita battery packaged in a carboard box rather than the clamshell packaging that came with the same sized battery that I had bought previously. The two batteries also had different UPC's on their packaging - leading me to conjecture that the Amazon seller of the newer one was perhaps offering a version that they had imported themselves. But no complaints about performance - and as an added feature the new battery came with a protective slide-on cover for storage - not something provided with the original battery
