Excellent book with detailed information and photographs/maps. Unfortunately the type is very small in general and minute in captions. I had to use my magnifying glass to read it. I returned to one I bought but would definitely buy again if it was made in a larger format with bigger type.

An informative, detailed, and well-organized book that is difficult to enjoy because the print is so tiny it requires a magnifying glass to read. Captions and graphs are even smaller. I'd venture to say that most of the text is 8 pt type or smaller

Great giftI bought it for my girlfriend for her birthday. She is an archaeology bath. I will admit I haven’t read it, but she loves it. And not just because she loves me.

Very large tomb with lots of text and photos. Just wish the text was a tad larger. But overall, very satisfied with this book.

The book is a great up to date review of the practice and discoveries of archaeology.However, beware that the font is extremely small. If you don't have excellent eyesight you may have difficulty reading it.I am using a lighted magnifying device but it's worth it if you are into this type of topic.

Difficult to read--too small rpint

It a perfect reference book when you want to learn about something phenomenal and new about our history or remind yourself of something beautiful. You can satiate yourself with the gorgeous photos and brief info or you can use it as a launching pad for more in depth information elsewhere. I love it
