Perfect lil' rounds!
I love this smaller size!! In the rounds, they're typically for gifts to others, so this smaller size means I can afford to give away more. But I also fit way more dough then im typically told will fit. I have the 8" ovals as well, which i personally love the shape of more than round, just for ease of use. But I've regularly had anywhere from 700g to 900g and had great loaves, just obviously a good bit larger than it looks. But the smaller 350 or so is great too and leaves more room to grow of course. Sometimes they can be a bit rough here and there, but a lot of times I use the linen fabric insert as it's so easy to keep clean, so nothing else matters. But, every time I've used just the basket its turned out well too. I like to cold proof for 2 or 3 days, so these are indispensable at helping hold the shape as well as wicking away excess moisture. For example, when I make small bread bowls for soup, I use tea towels in ceramic cereal bowls. It works OK, but, the bowls hold in all liquid, so the towels get decently wet, making it a bit more difficult to work with. So, these aren't absolutely necessary, of course! But, they make for a much better product, in my opinion, for me. But even better, is this company and their customer service!!! I've rarely had such kindness helpful people responding to my random questions and babble :) Seriously amazing people and I can't thank them enough for all their help. It's why, when I was able to buy a couple, I knew it would be through them. Oh, and yes, they are small... so, before you buy them and then complain that they are small, be sure you look at review photos people have added, as well as look at a ruler, just so you can fully understand the size and are sure it's the size you want. Right now, for me, this 7" round is perfect for what I need. The measurements are there, so if worried, just get the next size up :)

Sourdough Starter's Luxury Spa Treatment.
Bread enthusiasts and anyone who's ever wrestled a sticky blob of dough into something vaguely loaf-shaped, let me tell you about my latest baking essential: the 10 inch Round Banneton Bread Proofing Basket Set. For a while, my proofing process involved either a bowl lined with a tea towel (which sometimes resulted in the tea towel becoming one with the dough) or just hoping for the best on a baking sheet (results varied wildly). I saw these rattan baskets and thought, "Maybe this is the secret to those perfectly round, artisanal-looking loaves!" When these beautiful, natural rattan baskets arrived, they smelled faintly of... well, rattan. Like a tiny, woven sauna for dough. They felt sturdy and well-made, and the included linen liners were a nice touch. My sourdough starter, Bubbles (yes, still Bubbles), eyed them with what I can only assume was anticipation. Using them for the first time felt like I was finally giving my dough the respect it deserved. You flour the basket (liberally, unless you want a doughy science experiment), place your shaped dough inside, and let it do its thing. The rattan coils leave a lovely spiral pattern on the dough, which is both aesthetically pleasing and makes you feel like you know what you're doing. It's like giving your bread a fancy temporary tattoo. The real magic happens after proofing. Gently flipping the dough out of the basket onto your baking surface is incredibly satisfying. It holds its shape beautifully, thanks to the support of the banneton. No more sad, flat loaves! My bread now stands tall and proud, ready to face the heat of the oven. These baskets are the perfect size for a standard loaf, and getting a set of two means I can proof multiple loaves (or just have a backup in case one is in the laundry, because yes, the linen liners need washing). Cleanup is surprisingly easy – just brush out the excess flour from the basket and wash the liner. If you're serious about your bread's shape and appearance, want to achieve that rustic, artisanal look, and are tired of your dough staging escape attempts during proofing, these banneton baskets are a fantastic investment. They've elevated my bread game significantly and made the proofing process much less stressful and much more visually rewarding. My bread looks fancy, and I'm thoroughly impressed with these woven wonders.

Perfect when your recipe is for 2 loaves
These baskets are terrific. I make sourdough bread weekly. My normal recipe is for two loaves, so this set is ideal. Make certain you flour the insides before putting dough in. Using rice flour works best. And rinse out after bread has baked. Many folks advise against getting these wet to avoid molding. I've had no issues but I am careful to let them dry thoroughly before putting them away.

Excellent quality
The price was so reasonable I didn’t set my expectations too high. However, these baskets are of high-quality. Very well-made. A nice addition to my other Bennington proofing baskets. perfect size for dinner table bread loaves. I would buy them again.

Perfect size for 400 - 500 grams of dough.
Since I've already used one, yes, it is a 5-star banneton. Very nicely made, with attention to details. The linen cloth liners have a generous cut and are well sewn together - I don't expect them to split any seams. The cloth itself is also good quality. Certainly worth the money.

Love
Great for making half loaves when I try out new inclusions. Liners had a smell so definitely wash before use.
