They hold the ball well at the inclined forward angle. They do indeed seem to help straighten out tee shots (I can't get my head around why but the results did speak for themselves. They don't break. But despite the loud colours, I have lost them or even left them behind. The downside: This is a stepped tee. BUT Martini tees recommends that you put the tee into the ground leaning towards your target slightly. The step is 90 degrees to the shaft of the tee not at the angle for the incline forward. This seems to me to be an odd design choice. If you want people to step at an angle, surely the step should be at the 80 degree angle not the 90 degree one they say you don't want. Also, with a step that's angled, it means the height of the tee is actually lower than the planned step (if you see what I mean). I think Martini could do better here. The package does not state the length.** A: The entire length is 3 1/4". From the flange its 1 3/4" (This is distance it sits above the ground). Depending on soft your tee box is they can get deeper into the ground. I love them. I have used the regular ones for 15yrs and only broke one over that time (think it was a very cold day). **Q: How many are in package?** A: Looks like Martini has several packaging schemes. I bought the 3 1/4 tees in a 5-pack, 2" tees were 6 to a package. While a little pricey, the do seem be indestructable! **Q: I have what I believe is essential tremors (i.e. shaky hands). Will these help in teeing the ball?** A: That is exactly why I bought mine and they worked great. Since then I gained 20 lbs and the tremors went away.
