Excellent product. I place 3 in a triangle under dry wood inside my fireplace, Hold a lighter under them till they start to burn and done. No paper, no kindling, notta. They just work. I recommend using a refillable butane fire lighter for best results. Definitely worth the money over trying to light a fire with paper and kindling. Such a timesaver!

We live in a 200+ year old log house. We have mini-splits for basic heating and air conditioning. We rely on our large, old woodstove as a main source of heating during the cold months. I cannot recommend these fire starter sticks highly enough. They are fool-proof and guarantee a fast start to our morning fire. They are clean, retain heat long enough to really get the fire started and they do so with no waste or unwanted odor. I used to use the "brick" style fire starters...but no more! These fatwood fire starter sticks are the best!
