A refreshing approach to a classic with authentic walnut scales. It arrived in the Victorinox box in perfect shape with the official markings on the base of the large blade. Authentic. I opened all tools and rubbed in a dab of mineral oil on both sides of the scales for protection and a soft sheen. It's a good value for the cost, not too bulky or over sized and excellent craftsmanship. The walnut is probably of European origin and medium color unlike most U.S. walnut which typically is darker. The logo, or show side, has nice grain. Very classy looking. I also use KPL knife oil sparingly on tool hinge points to lube and assist breakin in period Definitely recommend.

Bought for my boyfriend and he loves it. Wanted a Swiss Army knife, but I wanted it to look nice, so ordered the walnut. Great elevates option for your typical pocket knife.

Solid knife. The wood is a bit lighter than pictured. Also buyer be aware: this version does not come with the standard SAK tweezer and toothpick. It is a 13 function tool.

If you want a modern Victorinox EDC that is the closest possible to the original Victorinox knives, get one of these. The huntsman pattern is tried and true. The wooden scales are way better than the cellidor and alox scales. Its much better for the environment too! It feels amazing in the hand. They source the wood from a sustainable walnut tree farm right there in Switzerland, near where the knives are made. European quality at its finest.

I love these knives. I will probably buy more.

Es una excelente multi herramientas. Las cachas de nogal le dan una vista muy elegante. Entrando en materia: es muy útil para el día a día. Tiene el tamaño adecuado para un EDC, le compré su funda. Es increíble como te facilita muchas cosas, incluso los que me rodean dicen: -oye, ¿tienes que usar tu navaja para todo? Si antes lo hacías todo a mano.- Y pues claro que se usa para todo porque no saben comp te facilita la vida. Este modelo de madera no incluye el palillo de dientes ni las pinzas, cosa que no me afecta. De verdad háganse un paro y comprenla, no se van a arrepentir. Trabajo en obra y oficina y no saben como me facilita la chamba para ambos casos. Como comentario informativo: la poli no se las puede quitar (en México), están permitidas. El artículo 4 del reglamento de armas te indica que no puedes cargar una navaja (solo navaja sin multi herramientas) con doble filo y de más de 11 centímetros y que sea automática. Para que los manden a volar si se quieren pasar de lanza. Editado: Sigo maravillado con esta multiherramientas. Tarde casi 2 meses en tener mi primera herida (supongo a todos nos ha pasado con victornox) y cabe destacar que el filo es impresionante, fue una herida super lineal, sin dolor, solo sangre; la herida fue hecha por el desarmador pequeño, con la parte del abrelatas, no quiero imaginar como es el filo de la navaja. Excelente calidad, de verdad. No se arrepentirán.
