A: Yes.  My tv has the 3 outlets and it works wonderfully.

A: The unit has both RCA and component cable connectors, but no HDMI.

**Q: What kind of plug does this DVD player have--US or Europe or Pacific area**
A: I guess if I were to guess I'd say it was a US plug. I live in the US, and it plugged in to my outlet just the same as any other  dvd player that I have owned. A two prong plug.
