Great knife - Even for a professional chef!
This is a great knife. I got it for my wife who is a chef and needed something to make it easier for her to cut large amounts of meat without burning her shoulder out - she's a petite woman. I'm not sure what type of steel it is but right out of the box it's razor sharp. The handle is ergonomically perfect for both her small hands as well as my XL hands. Additionally, she says the knife has just the right amount of weight to make slicing paper thin meat easy. She loves it!

Super sharp be careful!
Great knife, bought it for my gf and its super sharp. It cuts veggies very thinly and will cut English muffins or bagels with ease. Ive used it to cut large blocks of meat thinly like pork butt. Its the perfect butcher knife for women too cause its not too big and bulky. It fits her hands really well as well as mine which is significantly bigger. Id buy this again but i think i wont have to since its a great quality knife and if you sharpen it this will last you a life time

No regrets! Great quality!
Just a great knife for the money! Stays sharp, dices and chops like a professional chef’s instrument. The grip is comfortable and the weight feels balanced and not fatiguing. I care for my knives fairly well but I’ve seen no signs of corrosion. It’s a well made functional and safe knife to use. I highly recommend!!

It has a defined role
This is a classic Japanese Chef knife and if you know anything about these types of knives, you are aware that it has a specific purpose in one's kitchen. If so, then you will find that this knife is on par with similar knives costing hundreds of dollars. it holds its edge longer than expected but it will, after some use, require a sharpening touch up to recondition the edge. Nothing odd, just part of the maintenance you will need eventually. The handle is not ergonomic, but better than most. Again, it is how you were 'trained' to use it. This is a special knife that I would encourage one who intends to use it, to read up on what this knife is, what it can do, and how to use it. Once you get past that hurdle, you will find this knife perfect for everyday cutting jobs around the kitchen. You will tend to grab this knife ahead of others as it has multi-functions that come in handy. Worth every penny it took to get it.

Sharp, smooth cutting
I'm not a fan of this style knife blade, but this seemed like a good knife so I thought I'd give it a try. It's lighter than I expected and very sharp, but I've only used it a few times and only on onions so it's not much to base it on yet. That said, it cuts through the onion smoothly and effortlessly.

These are really nice knives and have stayed sharp for a really long time. The handle shape is 2nd to none and look great too.

Love this knife!!
Love this knife!! Great contoured handle (fits large and small hands). The blade shape is perfect for chopping and scooping up stuff! Blade is good quality and has not shown anything wear or chipping with use. It is not too heavy in the hand but it does have some heft to it. I consider that a positive. Can’t beat the price!

I bought this knife because I wanted to try a Nakiri knife. I used it the day I got it so slice up some beef and vegetables for dinner that night. And I have to say Wow!! This knife was super sharp and glided through everything. The beef was cut smoothly. And the vegetables were no problem at all even Dice cutting the onion was super easy it cut through with minimal pressure, the onion didn't even try to slide away because of the ease of cutting it with minimal pressure. This blade is very fine and super sharp. don't use this knife like a cleaver and take care of it and it should last a good long time. Also the handle and blade joint is ergonomic and super comfortable to hold onto the knife and use it. I love This knife and would buy again from this manufacturer. and would recommend it to a friend.
