Really pleased with this mic stand . As a professional musician I want something that would stand to life on the road . great robust stand which last some time .

Holds a relatively heavy microphone (FiFine K670) in place even when fully extended. The base is strong and heavy enough to keep everything steady. The manufacturers video shows this very well - you can even stand on it.... The controls and sliding mechanism are all good - and work well. Extending arm could glide slightly more smoothly, if being picky. Comes with an adaptor for different microphone mount thread sizes. Would be useful if it came with a tripod size thread adaptor too, as the I could more easily mount my zoom H1. But it is good it comes with cable clips. Now use it everyday and have moved it around a fair bit, its not so heavy you can carry it easily.

I have been looking for a sturdy Mic stands for our Band after having bought some earlier with ended up damaged after use the metal buckling. But the Gravity Stands are very sturdy and usable height adjusters and a heavy base. Going to purchase a couple more. I can Highly recommend the stands.

This stand is absolutely fantastic. Highly durable materials, all of the key contact points are rubberized which helps significantly with grip, they also are coloured and different colour rings can be bought to differentiate stands. The size is excellent, legs are short whilst retaining balance at offset configurations, and weight bearing of the telescopic boom is top quality. I will only buy these, I like them more than my K&M's and they're cheaper. Only negative consideration is that the rubberized grips get somewhat gritty / faded with constant use. Probably easily cleaned. Also one artist didn't know how to use the telescopic clamp.
