I'm in "parts gathering stage" of building my own 212 Predator clone-powered crosskart, and while I have a fully built engine complete with stage 1 kit and aluminum flywheel...and engine mount...I didn't yet have a torque converter, which is an essential part of your drive train so you can stop at idle and not stall the engine. When I ordered it, I thought this was the torque converter that I needed. Then I went outside to the garage today to install it and...bwahhh, my engine has a 1" shaft not a 3/4" like I thought it had. Shows what I get for assuming and not checking.The error is 100% mine and not the manufacturer. Though the instructions are a bit sparse, they're enough to get you through it, especially if you have any experience at all working on these types of engines and systems. I was, in fact, very impressed with the overall quality of this kit, and if my engine had a 3/4" shaft like I THOUGHT it did, I'd have a prepped and ready to bolt-in engine and I'd be SUPER happy.As it stands right now, I'm disappointed at my own mistake of not measuring my shaft size, but definitely 100% recommend this if you have a 3/4" shaft (please verify!) engine, because it's VERY well made, top quality for sure. Even the plastic cover was very well molded and in perfect shape and lined up perfectly with all the bolt holes. It's a fantastic torque converter that I wish I was using right now. 5 stars.
