Pace Cilantro Jalapeno Lime Signature Sauce, 10.4 oz

This has recently become a favorite for my breakfast tacos. I used to stick with another brand for years, but I picked this up on sale and it was definitely worth it. The brand I used before came in a glass bottle, which is nice and a bit more eco-friendly, but it didn’t have a squeeze top. I really like that this one has a squeeze bottle because it makes it easier to spread evenly over my dish instead of accidentally dumping it all in one spot. The bottle sits with the lid on the bottom, so I don’t have to fight gravity to get the last bit out. It is also easy to squeeze. I have some hand strength issues at times, and squeezing can be difficult with other bottles, but this one is very manageable and gives good control over how much comes out. I like that it is not a thick stream, just a nice drizzle, and you can always add more if you want. The taste is great. It is thick, but not in a bad way. It stays on my taco and does not run. I really enjoy the flavor. The previous brand I used was more tangy and vibrant, but this one has a warm, rich flavor without being overpowering or giving any heartburn. It is not spicy at all, just a little tang, which works nicely without dominating the taco. This is a really enjoyable sauce that is easy to use and adds great flavor to my tacos.

This sauce is OK for the right foods. First its quite mild and I would not call it exciting in any way, I feel as mild as it gets so don't think its a hot sauce despite it having Jalepenos in it. In fact I don't really feel much of jalapeños influence in this sauce. I feel its more like a tomatillo sauce in terms of heat and consistency. Its good on fish, pork, some egg combos, and other things that the tang of lime works well with. I like to make batches of carnitas in the crockpot and its great making nachos with the carnitas and drizzling this sauce over them when the kids or wife want something more mild. Being mild it tends to go quickly but its prices to offer high value.

Tastes so good on scrambled eggs and omelets!!! I can’t go without now … the consistency is a little thinner than ketchup. Great value!

Pretty ordinary sauce. Not for lovers of heat or robust flavor.

Tasty, add just enough zing to tacos, tostada's, eggs, etc. Not above the lighter heat level. Good over nachos too!
