The electric shaver and all of the bits that it comes with works fine. As expected. I did like that I can see the battery life of the electric shaver. The one issue I ran into was with the straight edge. Similar to other reviewers it just simply moves as you're shaving or it all falls out; pretty dangerous. What I recommend doing is release the latch on the back and pinch it down tightly several times with your hand. Then force it back over top and it holds the blade MUCH better - no moving now. If it still moves then do it again but with more force. It should be snug. Also, keep in mind that the straight edge blade may seem lop-sided but it most likely is not. The overlapping metal that keeps it in place sometimes moves if it is not tight enough, but not the blade itself. It may make it seem like the blade moved although it did not. Pinching the latch tighter should help with both possible scenarios though.

The guard options are great for the long range of lengths. Battery is very solid. Where it fails is using it to trim a beard without guard - less effective than decades old cheap trimmers. Motor seems to also be of very poor quality as it's weaker. Barely at 1 year and it had already slowed down before this review. Basically if main thing you're after is the great length options - it's good enough; but expect it to be more time consuming the longer you own this. If you want to ever go to stubble, you'll need something else - even a cheap $20 beard trimmer will crush this.

I’ve been reading reviews for weeks. Every product has good and bad reviews so I weighed the good and bad against each other and ended up on this one. First. Very well packaged, nice presentation. I did get the whole sha-bang with the razor, beard wash, balm and attachments. Just to mention. I’m now a big fan of their beard balm. It came with the sandalwood scent and is really like a nice butter consistency. Some balms are hard as a rock and scraping them from the tin is messy, not this one. Anyways my charger came almost completely charged so I left it on that kick-a** stand that comes with it! Nice touch Beard Club!. Charged up with no problems at all. Super sharp blades so be careful. I watched a lot of videos bc this was my first attempt at trimming and styling my beard. So a big tip is go slow and take a little off at a time. After cutting the cheek line, straight down off the sideburns then the neck line I used the attached combs to get a nice even look on the sides. I trimmed out my upper lip for the stache. I’m going to grow it out along with my chin for a more musketeer look. Twirled mustache with a longer almond shaped chin beard with trimmed sides. Before I started I hadn’t trimmed for I don’t know a couple months at least and was definitely looking hoboish for sure. Not no more. I would absolutely recommend this trimmer. It fits nicely in your hand and looks really nice sitting in the holder. We’ll done Beard Club, we’ll done!
